Astronomical Observations
Discover the sky of Monsaraz, and let yourself be enchanted by the Universe

Located in an internationally certified Dark Sky Reserve® or “Starlight Tourism Destination”, OLA offers a guided tour of the magnificent night sky of Monsaraz, where you can learn polar orientation, identify the constellations and learn about their legends.
Basic concepts of astronomy and astrophysics are covered as various deep sky objects are observed through high-resolution telescopes, including planets, starbursts, binaries, nebulae, galaxies and much more!
The entire experience includes the presence of one of our guides, a professional in the field of astronomy.
Explanations are given in accessible language and our guides are more than prepared to answer all types of questions, including existential ones.
