Activities for schools

At the Alqueva Lake Observatory – OLA we have activities linked to Astronomy that we develop taking into account the different academic years and the curricular plans of the subjects of Natural Sciences, Physical Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

Bring your students to discover the universe with OLA!

We develop interactive activities and daytime and nighttime observations of the universe for schools.

All activities are based on practical experiences and were designed to complement the curricula of the different disciplines.

Our activities can be done at school or at OLA.

We provide facilities for students to camp at the Observatory for a night and enjoy the experience of sleeping under the stars.

We have different price options depending on the activities chosen.
