Messier 16 Eagle Nebula

Happening in the sky in
November'25

Session Schedule
6:30 pm in English
8:30 pm in Portuguese

  • November 7th - Full moon.

  • November 13th - Last Quarter Moon.

  • November 21st - New Moon.

  • November 29th - Waxing Crescent.

  • On the night of November 3rd to 4th, the Taurids peak in intensity (11% of the Moon illuminated). For more information, see Taurids Meteor Shower.

  • Saturn is in excellent observation conditions.

  • Jupiter will start to appear during the second session. However, it will not yet be in good observation conditions.

  • If you really want to see Jupiter, we recommend the second session of the night. The months of December, January and February are the best months to observe Jupiter.

  • The Andromeda galaxy is well positioned in the sky for good viewing, however, nights with the Moon in the sky will always reduce the available contrast.
